Student Parking
All parking services at Red Deer Polytechnic are managed by Precise ParkLink (West).
Students who have a room in Residence for the academic year, will be emailed a link to purchase a parking permit, regardless of if they take credit courses, or not. Each link is specific to the parking lot closest to your assigned room (if possible). Parking is available on a first come first served basis.

Credit Students
All parking for credit students is in unreserved/scramble parking lots as identified in the map below:
Rates for Credit Student Parking
| Scramble parking without power in Lots C, D, G, N, Q, R | $40 monthly |
One permit allows parking in any credit student parking lot (C, D, G, N, Q and R).

Then:
- Select the month or term to begin parking at RDP
- Enter your license plate
- Enter your payment method
- Note: Each permit purchase has a $2.50 convenience fee charged at the time of purchase, so buying parking for a term is cheaper overall than purchasing parking every month.
Students are able to list more than one license plate when signing up for parking. However, they must inform Precise ParkLink of the license plate of their vehicle that is currently on campus through honkmobile.com or the Honk Mobile App.
Prior to the expiration of your parking permit, you will receive a reminder about renewing your parking permit.

Apprentice Students
All parking for apprentice students is in unreserved/scramble parking as identified in the map below:

One permit allows parking in any apprentice student parking lot (B, T and U).

- Select the duration of the permit that you require
- Enter your license plate
- Enter your payment method
- Note: Each permit purchase has a $2.50 convenience fee charged at time of purchase, so buying parking permits for longer durations has more savings overall than buying parking more often for shorter amounts of time.
Students are able to list more than one license plate when signing up for parking. However, they must inform Precise ParkLink of the license plate of their vehicle that is currently on campus through honkmobile.com or the Honk Mobile App.

Carpool Parking (Students)
All carpool parking at Red Deer Polytechnic will be administered by Precise ParkLink’s IPASS Permit Management Software.
Please fill out the form below and email it to rdp [at] preciseparklink [dot] ca (rdp[at]preciseparklink[dot]ca).
After verification, you will receive an email from Precise ParkLink with a link to purchase your parking.

Accessible Parking (Students and Employees)
To apply for accessible parking at RDP, please follow all steps on the attached form below and email it to rdp [at] preciseparklink [dot] ca (rdp[at]preciseparklink[dot]ca).

Public Parking on Main Campus
Members of the public have several parking options at Red Deer Polytechnic.
Rates for Public Parking
| Lots P East, P West and Lot Q (Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre) | $2 per hour, $10 per day and $19 per week |
| College Boulevard (near main entrance) | $1 per half hour |
Public parking fee payment and monitoring is in effect from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday. Parking fees can be paid at meters just inside four main entrances (see map above) or through Honk Mobile.
Meter Payments
Parking meters accept all major credit cards (tap required), Interac/Debit Tap, ApplePay, GooglePay and coins.
To make a payment:
- Select your payment method
- Select the amount of time that you will be staying on campus
- Enter your license plate
- Follow the instructions on the screen to complete your payment
- Select if you would like a receipt
Honk Mobile
To pay using Honk Mobile’s website:
- Visit: honkmobile.com
- Scroll down the landing page and click on the Find Parking button
- Type Red Deer, Alberta in the search bar
- Choose from one of the four public parking options listed for Red Deer Polytechnic
- Choose the parking date and time you wish to purchase (current or future)
- Follow instructions to create an account
- Choose your payment method
To pay using Honk Mobile’s app:
- Download the free Honk Mobile app from Google Play or the App Store
- Follow instructions to create an account
- Use Location Services or search under Red Deer Alberta for parking options at RDP
- Select icon(s) to view details of each option
- Choose the parking date and time you wish to purchase (current or future)
- Choose your payment method
To pay by Honk Mobile’s QR Code:
- Scan the QR code located in the corresponding parking lot or meter
- No app download or account set up is required
- Select the amount of time you wish to purchase
- Enter your license plate number
- Choose your payment method
Honk Mobile charges a $0.35 convenience fee with each parking transaction.
