Projects and Statistical Reports
Alberta Application Submission Initiative Data Submission - Data is shared with Alberta Advanced Education to track students applying to post-secondary educational institutions and transferring throughout the province and their programs.
Annual Program Improvement Report – On an annual basis, various data are compiled into a report for the purpose of reviewing programs for continuous improvement to ensure RDC maintains high quality programming.
Application Monitoring Document - This report monitors student applications to Red Deer Polytechnic programs from January through to the end of September.
Course Registration by Program for Fall, Winter, and Spring - This report analyzes by program all Red Deer Polytechnic courses, their limit, and how many students are enrolled.
Division of Extended Education Programs Evaluation Reports - Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring terms - These evaluations are administered to Division of Extended Education students to reveal perceptions and opinions of the Division of Extended Education department, programs, and courses. Reports are produced four times during the academic year.
Full Load Equivalent (FLE) and Headcount Preliminary Enrollment Estimate to Alberta Advanced Education - Alberta Advanced Education generates province-wide FLE and headcount estimates for budget-planning purposes. This report provides the Red Deer Polytechnic portion of the information.
Institutional Research Annual Report - This report summarizes the annual activities of Red Deer Polytechnic’s Institutional Research department.
Program Completer Study - is conducted annually to reveal the perceptions, opinions, and activities of Red Deer Polytechnic program completers and university-transfer leavers six to nine months after leaving their program. Institutional Research publishes the findings of the Program Completer Study every two years.
Program Review Data Collection and Reporting - Program Review data is collected every seven years when programs are undergoing review.
Student Feedback Instrument Reports (Fall, Winter, and Spring) - The Student Feedback Instrument (SFI) process gives students an opportunity to evaluate their instructors. Institutional Research coordinates the SFI process, from planning/preparing timelines based upon the Red Deer Polytechnic Academic Calendar, through scanning the results and distributing reports to instructors and Deans after final grades have been submitted.
