The personal information that you provide on this form is being collected under the authority of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act of Alberta, section 33(c). It will be protected in compliance with the provisions of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act of Alberta and will be retained in accordance with the Information Management policy and guidelines. This information will be used by the Student Connect Centre for the purpose of selecting recipients of emergency bursaries. This information may also be shared with the Canada Revenue Agency. Prior to completing this application, please note the following:

  • This application should be completed only if you meet the following eligibility requirements:
    • You are experiencing a financial shortfall due to unforseen circumstances, and
    • You are currently attending RDP classes (includes collaborative and distance students), and
    • Your current study period is at least 4 weeks in length
  • Students must demonstrate commitment to their studies in order to be eligible for an Emergency Bursary. The Emergency Bursary Committee may be in contact with your instructors to confirm you are attending classes, completing assignments and are academically successful to date. By proceeding to and completing this form, you are agreeing to this process.
  • The Emergency Bursary Committee requires documented proof (receipts, quotes, etc.) of your emergency situation. Please have your documents ready for upload prior to beginning the application.
