The Office of the Registrar optimizes available technology to provide services to students, faculty, staff and the community. Some of the services provided include:
- Student Services

- Deliver recruitment services and events to prospective students, parents, high school counsellors and the public
- Promote and administer student funding, awards and scholarships
- Prepare annual program cost estimates for domestic and international students
- Process applications for admission and readmission to programs
- Administer registration for apprenticeship students
- Administer credit course registration for new and continuing students
- Facilitate transfer credit and prior learning services
- Provide academic program planning, advise and audit services
- Set the Academic Schedule and publish the Academic Schedule of important dates
- Publish the Academic Calendar inclusive of programs, policies and procedures
- Develop the annual timetable of courses and final exam schedule
- Support the deferred examination and supplemental examination process
- Collect and record grades determining academic standing and graduation requirements
- Notify students of academic standing and eligibility to graduate
- Protect student personal information through administering records in compliance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act of Alberta
- Respond to request for student personal information
- Refer students to support services
- Issue transcripts and parchments (MyCreds)
- Coordinate the annual Convocation Ceremony, New Student Orientation and Open House events

- Support academic governance through the Academic Council Secretariat
- Collaborate and provide institutional reporting to inform decision-making
- Research and set non-mandatory fees
- Schedule the annual Program Tuition and Fee Cost Estimate
- Publish the Course Guide, Course Catalog and course outlines
- Assist with incomplete grades and grade changes
- Provide advise on deferred and supplemental examination procedures
- Monitor and report on student academic integrity
- Provide advice on program academic and non-academic admission requirements
- Administer academic and student policies
