Current Research:
My research delves into two areas: Educational Development and Classics. In Educational Development, I focus on faculty development programming and learner-centredness. My PhD is in Classics (Roman Social History) and my research in this area focuses on Women in Antiquity, Roman Marriage, Epigraphy, and Cicero.
I am currently collaborating on an EDC Grant Funded Project, together with my colleagues Jennifer Thomas and Kasey Fulton, examining programs designed to prepare faculty and graduate students to teach in an online environment. I am also currently working on an articles on Aurelia Philematium and Maria Auxesis as well as a book-length examination of epigraphic evidence for marital ideals in ancient Rome.
