Series Workshop Proposal

Thank you for your interest in being part of Series 2023 at Red Deer Polytechnic! This form is designed to gather the most accurate information for your proposed workshop. We appreciate your effort to fill this form in its entirety.

Series 2023 will be held from July 2 - 28, 2023, with four weeks of workshops and Taste of Series on Saturday, July 15, 2023.

Proposals are currently being accepted for:

  • Evenings (3 hours per evening x 4 days)
  • Full week (Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm)
  • Taste of Series (Saturday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm)

Workshop proposals in all genres are welcome! As this event evolves each year, it is great to see some new, exciting, and alternative proposals.  

Proposals will be accepted until October 31, 2022*. All submissions will receive a follow-up notice by November 15, 2022, with a decision or status update.

*Proposals submitted after October 31 will only be accepted on a case-by-case basis

Proposals are evaluated based on the information given. Please ensure that you include as much information as possible regarding supplies, material costs, and expectations for reimbursement from Red Deer Polytechnic.

All instructors chosen for Series 2023 will be sent an email confirmation from Red Deer Polytechnic confirming arrangements. Please note that your workshops must be filled to a minimum number of registrants by approximately May 15, 2023 for the workshop to proceed. If the registration minimum is not reached, the workshop may be cancelled. Minimum capacity is determined by Red Deer Polytechnic.

This fee will be charged directly to the student at registration, and cannot be changed. It should cover all of the materials you will be providing for this course.

This is very important as our classroom space is limited and planning the workshops ahead of time is essential. The more information you can provide regarding your facility needs and the equipment you yourself will not be bringing, the better. Please check any that apply.
