The Program

Play a vital role in health care with a Medical Device Reprocessing certificate. Built around the concepts required to shine in this detail-driven field, our Medical Device Reprocessing program prepares you to write either the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management exam or the Canadian Standards Association exam to become a Certified Registered Central Service Technician.

In approximately 26 weeks, you’ll learn the science behind and the techniques required for the precise skills of hospital instrument sterilization. During a work-integrated learning opportunity, you’ll hone your skills and understanding of what it takes to play an essential role in health care as a medical device reprocessing technician.

This certificate program is brokered from Lethbridge College.
