Conditions of Use


Orientations & Waivers

Collicutt Performance Fitness Zone orientations are available to all new users.

A completed waiver form is required for all memberships, you can complete one at the Guest Services desk or complete prior to attending.

Please set up an appointment with a Fitness Attendant at your convenience. Youth aged 14-17 will require a mandatory youth orientation and a completed youth waiver must be signed by a parent/guardian to receive a shoe tag.

No children under the age of 14 are allowed in the Collicutt Performance Fitness Zone.


Parking

Free parking is included with a community membership, multiple parking lots across our main campus means that we have a lot of parking for our visitors.

Red Deer Polytechnic is pleased to provide guests of any of our Main Campus, Arts Centre and Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre venues with complimentary parking on weekends and statutory holidays.

Refund Policy and Process

Programs:

You have five calendar days after registering for a program to rescind it in writing by submitting an email to fitness [at] rdpolytech [dot] ca (Fitness & Sport Services). If you must withdraw from a program prior to the start date but over the 5 calendar days please notify the Program Administrative team at Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre prior to commencing. We will attempt to accommodate you into another program or we will issue a refund less a 10% plus GST administration fee. We do ask that you at least attempt a minimum 48 hours hours of notification given the opportunity to other potential client registrations.

Exceptions to this policy are:

  • If the program is cancelled by provider in which a full refund will be issued.

Membership:

You have five days after purchasing a membership to rescind it in writing by submitting an email to fitness [at] rdpolytech [dot] ca (subject: Refund%20Inquiry) (Fitness & Sport Services), refund requests will be reviewed and issued less a 10% plus GST administration fee. Persons wishing to cancel their contract after the five days will not be able to do so until the end of their contract term.

Exceptions to this policy are:

  • Medical condition preventing use of facilities and directed by physician
  • Relocating outside of the central Alberta zone
