Biography

Jen (she/her) is the Academic Writing Tutor at Red Deer Polytechnic Library. In this role, she tutors students in all aspects of academic writing including essay planning and organization, essay structure, grammar, punctuation, citation, and revision.

Jen’s professional interests include editing and proofreading, writing anxiety, and fostering an inclusive writing environment. Jen has been with Red Deer Polytechnic since 2012 as a Library Assistant, and has been the Academic Writing Tutor since 2019.
