Our post-secondary institution has a strong 60 year history.
First, as Red Deer Junior College. Then, known as RDC. And now, we're excited about our bold future as Red Deer Polytechnic.
We are proud of our roots in central Alberta. And as a polytechnic institution, we're ready for our future.
We create a positive impact across our province, across Canada and around the world.
RDP learners receive unique learning and applied research opportunities to grow their knowledge and skills. Our more than 87,000 alumni who live in 2,651 communities around the world are making a difference in their careers and in the lives of their families and neighbours.
Our Campuses and Facilities
Red Deer Polytechnic is located in Alberta, Canada.
We provide training, education and applied research opportunities at RDP's main campus and at a downtown campus located in the heart of our city's business community.

Downtown Campus:
We learn and work on Treaty 7, Treaty 6 and Métis ancestral lands, the gathering place of many Indigenous peoples. This is where we will strive to honour and transform our relationships with one another. Learn more.
