Our Policies and Procedures

Red Deer Polytechnic has a variety of policies and procedures to help guide our actions as an organization. 

Policies help to outline expectations of behaviour that apply to all members of the Polytechnic community, including, students, faculty and staff. Where appropriate, RDP's policies and procedures also apply to third party contractors, visitors and volunteers.

Procedures outline step-by-step processes that individuals follow to operationalize policies, helping to achieve specific outcomes.   

  • Questions you may have about the content of a particular policy or procedure should be directed to the Policy Administrator or Procedure Administrator as identified in the documents below.
  • The official version of any Polytechnic policy or procedure is the electronic version published on this page.
