Student Alumni Association

The RDP Student Alumni Association (RDPSAA) is a brand-new student group that works in collaboration with the RDP Alumni Association. Members of the RDPSAA are students who care about other students and about RDP. They help to raise awareness of the Alumni Association among students by developing engaging programming and activities in partnership with the Alumni Association Board of Directors and through collaboration with other boards.  

The RDPSAA will: 

• enhance student awareness of alumni activities; to connect students past, present and future; and to promote interaction and improved relationships between the Polytechnic, current students and alumni 
• develop and provide social, professional development, leadership and networking programs and events to connect students, faculty and alumni 
• work closely with the Alumni Association to ensure that programs align with the mission of the Alumni Association, as well as provide value to RDPSAA members and the Polytechnic community  
• be committed to developing and delivering programming and events specific to student’s wants and needs to enhance the education of students and to prepare them to serve as future alumni leaders  

Members of the RDPSAA Board of Directors will attend meetings two times per month and will be required to commit no less than five hours per month to RDPSAA meetings and activities.
