Red Deer Polytechnic is currently hiring instructors in the Parts Technician, Welder, Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation & Automation, Millwright, Plumbing, Cook, Heavy Equipment Technician, and Instrumentation & Controls Technician programs.
RDP’s School of Trades and Technology is Alberta's third largest Skilled Trades Apprenticeship training provider, offering training in 17 skilled trades and two Engineering Technology Diplomas. Our school’s diverse programs are offered in national-class facilities and adjacent to manufacturing and alternative energy innovation centers. This means our students have access to a wide range of experiences, expertise, and technologies.

No Teaching Experience? No problem! We provide training to all successful applicants to ensure you have the tools & support you need to succeed in the classroom.
Qualifications
Applicants must have:
- Alberta Journeypersons Certification
- Interprovincial Red Seal Certificate (where applicable)
- A minimum of five years of post-journeyperson work experience
