Our Residence is conveniently located just off of Queen Elizabeth Highway 2, close to all major event centres, meeting spaces and minutes away from all our main campus facilities.
Our guest accommodations can support everything from individual bookings to large group conferences and events for more than 500 people. Whether you are booking a conference or meeting, a staff or board retreat, or a team or youth group, we have accommodation options that will meet your needs.
Additionally, our event specialists can assist you in booking catering, meeting room space or activity space. Regardless of your event, staying on campus can give you peace of mind knowing that we provide campus security 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

When you stay at Red Deer Polytechnic, there is no need to separate your group or be confined in small spaces. We've got plenty of room.
Our main campus provides a wide range of accommodations to meet your needs while staying in Red Deer, Alberta. Below, you'll find information to help you plan your stay.
Residence
We can provide affordable accommodations for your group’s stay.
Available during the summer (May through August only), RDP Residence provides you and your guests with larger, affordable spaces to stay together. Just a short walking distance to our main campus building, our Residence has many townhouse-style housing options, so you can find the perfect fit.
Cost: $60 per night per person for linen-serviced rooms; $35 per night per person for sleeping bag-style rooms; $205 per night for a four-bedroom townhouse (linen service included)
Maximum capacity is one person per bedroom.

Studios by RDP
Newly built, sustainable and stunning!
Studios by Red Deer Polytechnic provide a modern guest experience situated in the newest Residence building on main campus. This space offers in-suite amenities to support individual travelers and large groups. Each unit comes equipped with your own kitchenette, bathroom and desk area.
Located conveniently close to the on-campus Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre, this accommodation option is great for parents, athletes, event guests and general visitors to RDP and the central Alberta region.
Premium Studio Suite
Enjoy an upgraded accommodation experience at an economical price! Our premium studio suites offer the added touches to ensure a comfortable stay at RDP. These premium units include a queen-size bed, kitchenette, private bathroom and a large window to allow in natural light. Select units come equipped with air conditioning for those hot summer days! Free internet access and cable television are located in each premium studio suite for your business and entertainment needs.
Cost: $100 per night
Standard Studio Suite
Standard studio suites provide a spacious, bright and comfortable experience for any guest. These units feature a twin-XL bed, kitchenette, private bathroom and a large window to allow natural light to fill the entire space. Each suite comes with free internet access for your business and entertainment needs. These rooms can allow double occupancy if requested. The second bed, which is a twin mattress, is conveniently located in a built-in Murphy bed that converts to a desk.
Cost for a suite with a TV: $80 per night for single occupancy; $90 per night for double occupancy
Cost for a suite without a TV: $75 for single occupancy; $85 for double occupancy

Individual
Enjoy the conveniently located and comfortably equipped accommodations at Red Deer Polytechnic. Our main campus provides a wide range of accommodations to meet your needs while staying in Red Deer, Alberta. Below, you'll find information to help you plan your stay.
The following prices are applicable until June 30, 2024.
Residence
We can provide affordable accommodations for your stay.
Available during the summer (May-August only), RDP Residence provides you with larger, affordable spaces to stay. Just a short walking distance to our main campus building, our Residence has many townhouse-style housing options so you can find the perfect fit. The kitchens include a fridge, stove and sink.
Cost per person: $60 per night for linen serviced rooms; $35 per night for sleeping bag-style rooms.
Cost per four-bedroom townhouse: $205 per night for a linen-serviced townhouse (must be booked and paid for by one individual in your party).
Please note: these rates do not reflect the 4% Tourism Tax and 5% GST.
Linen Option: includes bed linens (blankets, sheets, pillows), bathroom towels, soap and shampoo.
Non-Linen Options: no linens, pillows or towels are included in this option.
Dish Kit Request: The kitchen does not come equipped with any additional items such as coffee makers or dishes. Guests have the option of requesting a dish kit on a rental basis. Dish kits are $30/stay plus 9% tax. Dish kits include: one pot, one frying pan, two bowls and plates, one mug, four cups, four forks, spoons and knives, one cutting board and knife, one spatula, one coffee maker (Keurig), dish soap and kitchen towels. Dish kits are limited and not all requests can be accommodated.

Non-Campus Amenities
