Applying for Residence

We look forward to having you stay with us as your 'home-away-from-home', just steps away from your classes, services and other amenities located on our main campus.

Please review the process below to register for accommodations in our Residence. Please note that you must receive conditional or clear admission into a program at Red Deer Polytechnic to begin this process.

If you do not have conditional or clear admission, you must wait until you receive this confirmation from our Office of the Registrar before applying to live in Residence.
Current Students

If you currently live in Residence and want to live in Residence for the next school year, you may apply on or after October 1 for the following year. Residence staff do not assume you are coming back. It is your responsibility to re-apply every year.

Roommate Requests

Roommate requests are facilitated through your Residence application. To begin this process, view the Roommate Request tab on your application in the Residence Portal. Roommate requests must be mutual through this process.
