Alumni Association
Red Deer Polytechnic Alumni Association
In 1988, a group of graduates created the Red Deer College Alumni Association. Our goal? To assist students and to help them stay connected with the institution. Now, we are a key part of the alumni journey, and we have an important role to play in envisioning the future of the alumni relationship as we become Red Deer Polytechnic.
You are automatically a member of the Red Deer Polytechnic Alumni Association (RDPAA) if
- you have completed 30 credits,
- if you finished or completed a portion of a trades program, or
- if you started your degree - even if you finished it by transferring
at RDP (even while we were Red Deer College and Junior College)
If you don't fit these criteria, consider applying for an Associate Membership.
The Alumni Association is governed by a volunteer executive and is dedicated to:
- Promoting academic excellence
- Maintaining an informed, interested and committed alumni
- Furthering the friendships and associations made while attending RDP
- Ensuring that RDP continues to play an integral role in central Alberta
If you're interested in serving on this volunteer board, join us at the Annual General Meeting, check out our bylaws or apply online today!

Alumni Association 2030 Strategic Plan
