Biography 

Alexander brings over thirty years of practical experience in film and video production to our polytechnic school. With a background that includes five years of teaching film courses abroad and in Canada, he currently holds professional designations as the Director of Photography and Cinematographer with local IATSE 669, along with a Camera Crane/remote Head technician Permittee status with IATSE 899. Alexander has contributed to American and Canadian feature films, television series, commercials, and music videos. In addition to his technical roles, Alexander explored acting and directing, studying under Judith Weston and acting in over a dozen independent films.

His teaching experience encompasses advanced film production courses in locations such as Prague, Czech Republic, and the Canadian Film & Television Institute in British Columbia. Notably, he served as the Department Head and Senior Instructor of Digital Film at the Center of Arts & Technologies. Alexander's practical expertise and commitment to education make him a valuable member of our faculty.
