Biography

Blayne Meek is the Associate Vice President, Marketing & Communications at RDP.

Blayne is a creative strategist with more than 20 years of experience in brand development, traditional and digital marketing, strategic communications and change management within the post-secondary, public and private sectors.

Before joining the Red Deer Polytechnic team, Blayne worked as Director of Marketing and Communications at Olds College of Agriculture & Technology. Among her career achievements there, she played an integral role in evolving the brand of the institution into a national leader in agriculture technology education and applied research.

Prior to working in higher education, Blayne held positions with Encana, the City of Airdrie and the Calgary Health Region.

As a leader, Blayne is committed to creating diverse and inclusive teams who are empowered to be brave in creating compelling content that tells the story of the institution and the people who are a part of it.
