Biography
Brian Beingessner started working at Red Deer Polytechnic in 1999 and has thoroughly enjoyed his time here.
There is a lot of his family's history linked to this institute. Brian's father, Doug Beingessner, was the Dean of Trades here from approx. 1982 until 1992. When he was born his family lived in West Park on the last street before what would become the College property. When the college was first being constructed in the late '60s he would ride his bike all around the construction site on the weekends when no one was there. It was like a big bike park, lots of little hills and obstacles.
If only he had known then that a big part of his working career would be connected to this place.

- Completed Journeyman Electrician's ticket in 1982
- Completed Master Electrician's program in 1999
