
Dani Williams
Biography
Dani Williams (she/her), RSW, serves as the Student Care Coordinator, offering vital support and guidance to students navigating complex challenges throughout their polytechnic journey. In this role, Dani focuses on three key areas: assisting students in difficult situations and coordinating both internal and external resources, managing non-academic conduct issues, and acting as a primary point of contact for disclosures and reports related to sexual and gender-based violence.
As a Registered Social Worker with a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Regina, Dani is currently pursuing a master’s in clinical social work at the University of Calgary, with a focus on community-informed practice for health and wellbeing. Driven by a deep commitment to social justice and human rights, Dani’s diverse experience includes serving as a school social worker on a multidisciplinary support team, a children’s mental health therapist, and a social-emotional specialist and mental health transition consultant within education.
Dani is passionate about the academic environment, where she thrives in providing wraparound support to students, empowering them to overcome obstacles and create positive change in their lives.
