Doug Mackie

Biography

Doug Mackie is Director of Risk, Privacy & Legal Services at Red Deer Polytechnic.

He joined RDP in 2023 after most recently working at the University of Lethbridge, where Doug served as the Executive Director of Campus Safety. 

In his previous role at the Canadian Museum of Human Rights as a Security Analyst, Doug conducted an enterprise-wide, harmonized Risk and Threat Assessment, leading to the creation of a risk/security management framework. 

Doug's diverse and comprehensive background in risk management are invaluable in his new role at Red Deer Polytechnic.
