Biography

Joy earned her Ph.D. in Agricultural and Bioresource Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan and spent 15 years leading and managing applied agriculture research projects and programs, first at the Prairie Agriculture Machinery Institute (PAMI), then at Olds College of Agriculture and Technology. 

Her areas of specialization include precision agriculture, greenhouse gas emissions from agriculture, biomass and bioenergy systems, and grain storage and drying. While working at PAMI, Joy was a sessional lecturer at the University of Saskatchewan, teaching first and second-year engineering classes.

Joy is passionate about technology and teaching and is excited to be part of the Engineering Technology programs at RDP.
