Kristine Plastow

Biography

Kristine Plastow serves as Associate Vice President, Student Experience at Red Deer Polytechnic. She provides strategic leadership for services and supports that impact academic excellence, promote student well-being and encourage engagement to ensure an inclusive learning experience for Red Deer Polytechnic’s diverse learning population.

A key focus of this role is contributing to Red Deer Polytechnic’s recruitment and retention efforts, the management of student concerns, and ensuring mental health supports are available to support the holistic well-being of learners.

As Associate Vice President, Student Experience, Kristine provides coordinated leadership over several areas that support student success: Library, Academic Support, Accessibility Services, Athletics & Student Life, Career Education and Experience Development, Counselling Services, Indigenous Initiatives, International Student Services, Student Care and Conduct Coordination, and Testing Services.
