Lisa Rancier

Biography

Lisa received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Lethbridge in 2010. Prior to teaching, Lisa’s nursing career was mainly focused on inpatient cardiology within Red Deer Regional Hospital. She began teaching at Red Deer Polytechnic in 2018 and is currently pursuing her master’s degree from the University of Calgary with a dual focus in Teaching & Learning as well as Leadership in Healthcare. Her projected completion date is August 2024. Lisa’s passion for nursing education continues to grow with each year she spends at RDP. The passion, dedication, and excitement the nursing students show for the profession makes her hopeful for the future of healthcare.
