Biography

Miranda Moesker started her culinary journey by working at Pine Hills Golf Club for her apprenticeship and worked her way to sous chef by the time she obtained her red seal certification. She then moved onto working as a team lead in a long-term care facility and then as a chef at hospice. Miranda joined on at Red Deer Polytechnic in September of 2021 as the operations assistant which evolved into a full time teaching position in 2024. She has also been involved with Skills Alberta as a committee member since September 2024.

Miranda continues in her education with a pursuit of her C.C.C. credential, and eventually bachelor's in adult education.

Miranda believes in cooking with passion, taking risks, providing comfort and unity, and being sustainable by supporting local or growing your own food.
