Biography

Natalie is a full-time nurse educator at Red Deer Polytechnic and has been working with the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program since 2014, focusing on child health, research and ethics in nursing. Following graduation from RDP, her clinical work was at the Stollery Children’s Hospital in Edmonton, focusing on neonatal nursing and advanced pediatrics practice. Natalie has conducted research in various clinical areas and contexts including nursing ethics and the scholarship of teaching and learning.   

Natalie remains active in pediatric and neonatal clinical care via specialty certifications and committee memberships. Her scholarly work is in nursing ethics, innovation in teaching and student engagement. Natalie received the prestigious Excellence in Innovation Award from Red Deer Polytechnic.
