Biography

Patricia Marshall is an educational professional with a diverse background. As an Indigenous learning designer at Red Deer Polytechnic, she works with numerous faculty and staff in Indigenizing curriculum with program development, curriculum design and faculty development. Patricia has worked as a school teacher, principal and director with First Nations communities in Treaty 6, 7 and 8 in Alberta. She has also worked as a curriculum designer for the Nova Scotia Department of Education and the New Brunswick Department of Education and Early Childhood. 

Her areas of interest are Indigenous education, land-based learning, ceremonies, history, arts, Indigenous languages, experiential learning and curriculum designing.
