Biography

Priya teaches first year General Chemistry at Red Deer Polytechnic. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics at the University of New Brunswick and went on to complete her Masters in Chemistry at the University of Lethbridge. 

Her master's research focused on using computational chemistry to study the mutagenic patterns of DNA alkylation damage to the nucleobase thymine during cell replication. 

Following this, she completed her Bachelor of Education at St. Thomas University in the Middle/Secondary Math and Science stream. She began teaching at RDP in the 2020 Fall Term.
