Biography

Sabrina Lynn completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Northern British Columbia, where she enjoyed the smaller class sizes and more personal instruction that come with a smaller institution. She later received a Master of Science in Biology from the University of Calgary. Her thesis investigated the impact of dietary restrictions on tail regeneration in juvenile leopard geckos.

During her time at U of C, Sabrina especially enjoyed working as a Teaching Assistant for the first-year Biology labs, where she was awarded a Teaching Excellence Award and was eventually named the Head Teaching Assistant for the course. Following completion of her master's, Sabrina has been involved in science outreach, particularly with children.

In 2021, she joined Red Deer Polytechnic as a Biology Instructor and is excited to be part of a growing institution that provides the same high-quality, personal instruction that she received during her own undergraduate degree.
