Taslima Anwar

Dr. Anwar completed her PhD in 2017 from the Department of Physics at the University of Alberta. Then, she started working as a Research Associate at the same department. Later, Dr. Anwar joined the Department of Physics, Memorial University of Newfoundland as an Instructor in 2018. In August 2020, she started working at the Department of Physics, Mount Allison University as an Assistant Professor.

Since August 2022, Dr. Anwar has been teaching at Red Deer Polytechnic as a Physics Instructor in the Donald School of Business, Science and Computing. Earlier in 2014, she worked on two projects, funded by The Royal Society, as Honorary Visiting Assistant at the University of Liverpool. Her research interests include Geophysics, Earth Magnetic Field - Direction and Intensity, Rock-magnetism, and Paleoclimate. Dr. Anwar collaborated and coordinated with researchers and scholars from Cameroon, Canada, China, Russia, the United States, and the United Kingdom to get eight peer-reviewed papers published in renowned journals.
