Tom Haennel

Biography

Tom is the manager of the Library at Confluence Campus, a Red Deer Polytechnic satellite campus in Rocky Mountain House, AB. In addition to managing the Library, Tom coordinates the use of Red Deer Polytechnic space at Confluence Campus. Tom's professional interests include collection management, information literacy, gamification, community development, and young adult literature. 

Confluence Campus is a tri-campus facility which includes Red Deer Polytechnic, Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools (St. Dominic Catholic High School), and Wild Rose School Division (West Central High School). The facility hosts labs for mechanics, cooking, carpentry and nursing.
