What happens to the personal information I provide?
The personal information provided will be used to process donations, sponsorship transactions, event registrations, to provide appropriate recognition or sponsorship fulfillment, to contact you regarding related fundraising, sponsorship, or event opportunities, and for the purposes of updating and maintaining donor, sponsor, event attendee and alumni records. The information will be collected and protected under provisions of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act of Alberta, Section 33(c). Why am I getting this error “Unable to load the reCAPTCHA image…”
Your security is our priority. If you are experiencing issues accessing our event registration, donation or sponsorship pages, or are seeing an "Unable to load the reCAPTCHA image" error, your operating system and browser need to be updated to the latest version to ensure that your payment is processed safely and securely.

What is the difference between a Donation and a Sponsorship?
Donations are philanthropic gifts given with no expectation of something in return. Sponsorship (advertising) is more transactional in nature, in that it generally includes corporate recognition. Sponsorship support is a valuable way to support students while also meeting your business needs.
Questions about your donation
Will my donation qualify for a charitable tax receipt?
Donations totaling to $25 annually will be issued a charitable tax receipt. Gifts are consolidated and receipts are printed at intervals throughout the year and mailed to the address you provided when you made your gift. If your mailing address changes, giving [at] rdpolytech [dot] ca (email us).
Mailed gifts that are postmarked between January 1 and December 31, as well as online gifts made between January 1 and before midnight on December 31 will receive tax receipts dated with the corresponding calendar year.
How will my donation be recognized?
All donations will be recognized in accordance with the Red Deer Polytechnic Gift Recognition Framework. For more information about this framework, giving [at] rdpolytech [dot] ca (email us).

When will I receive my receipt?
A receipt will be emailed to you within moments of submitting your payment online. If you do not receive a receipt, please giving [at] rdpolytech [dot] ca (contact us) at 403.342.3594
Is Sponsorship eligible for a charitable tax receipt?
No, because you are receiving advertising or services in exchange for your financial contribution, it is not eligible.

Where will my name/logo appear?
Your business name and/or logo will only be used according to the sponsorship you have purchased. Please find more information on available sponsorship packages here.
How do I get my logo to you?
Please submit your logo using our online form. We will contact you to confirm specific logo/ad requirements based on your chosen sponsorship package.
Will I be sent a contract?
Yes, within 5-10 business days of submitting your online payment we will be in touch with a digital contract for you to sign via Docusign.
