17th annual World Religions Conference

17th Annual World Religions Conference

Red Deer Polytechnic and the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community welcome you attend the 17th annual World Religions Conference.

This will be an evening of thoughtful discussion and questions between panelists and audience members.

Participants will embrace the mosaic of religions and philosophies from around the world, celebrating the harmony and unity that brings us together.

It has been said that a lie can travel halfway around the world while truth is still putting on its shoes. With rapidly advancing internet and communication technologies, we see that rumors and misinformation are thriving, impeding access to truth.

Indeed, those in search of truth are left with the task of sifting through a veritable mountain of information and a flood of noise, too frequently with tools inadequate to the search. That the validation and verification of information as true is increasingly difficult only highlights the importance of determining how one can ascertain truth in the first place.
