Study Skills & Time Management Session
Effective study habits are not inherited; they are learned. Study skills and strategies are a variety of methods to help understand and effectively use your process of taking in and organizing new information, retaining information, or dealing with assignments, tests, and exams. Managing your time effectively is also crucial to success in post secondary education.

How to Cite and Reference Sources Session
Citation is a way of giving credit to individuals when you use their words or ideas to support your research. Citations have enough information that a reader can find the exact source you used. Typically, this citation information includes the author's name, publication date, and other source information.
Citation styles are standardized ways to format citations. The citation style will determine exactly what information is necessary for a citation as well as how that information is presented, including punctuation and other formatting.

Exam Prep 101
In collaboration with the Library, RDP International is organizing an ‘Exam Prep 101’ information session for all current international students as they prepare for final exams by the end of this term. Many students experience nervousness or apprehension before, during, or after an exam. Participants will learn to recognize signs and symptoms of anxiety, as well as learn strategies to better cope with the emotional distress and physical tension that accompanies it. This workshop will also cover some exam preparation strategies.
