RDP fosters and embraces an inclusive learning and working environment where everyone can be themselves and share their talents. We are responsive to our community's changing needs and expectations.
Only through an ongoing process of learning can we make meaningful progress towards a community of belonging – a community where students and employees feel safe and seen.
In collaboration with the RDP Students' Association and Pride on Campus, we are proud to offer a week of learning & celebration for this year's Pride on Campus week!
Week-Long Events
- Check out materials in the Library's Book Display.
- Make Friendship Bracelets & other Pride crafts in the Makerspace.
- Write a message to your younger self to be added to a patchwork quilt. Look for tables across campus.
- Gary W Harris building will be illuminated in rainbow colours all week and pink/white/blue on March 31.

Allyship Workshop | Mar 25 | 12-2pm
Becoming an Ally: Being an Engaged Bystander
This workshop explores the roots of harassment experienced by those with intersectional identities, particularly the 2SLGBTQ+ community, and provides strategies to address discrimination, prevent harassment, and highlight the role of bystanders. This is achieved through an overview of power and privilege, interactive opportunities to reflect on attitudes and beliefs around gender and sexual diversity, and practical tools for being an engaged bystander.
Facilitated by the Center for Sexuality in the SARDP Loft.

Hosted by Pride on Campus, Queer Prom is an event for all! Celebrate the end of RDP Pride Week by getting your friends together to enjoy a night filled with activities and dancing.
