This page provides detailed information about the health and safety requirements for students who have received Official Admission to a Health Sciences program.

How to Submit Health & Safety Requirements and Immunization Records 

How do I submit my Initial Requirements, CRC/VSC, Certifications?  

Initial Requirements must be submitted during the first 2-4 weeks of your classes or as soon as you have your RDP email address; all other documents are to be submitted within the relevant Submission Window for your program. Use the link below for your submissions.

How do I submit my Immunization Records?

You can submit your Immunization Records for your program through the SharePoint link below. Only to be completed once HSPnet Consent Form has been submitted.

Red Deer Polytechnic (RDP) students enrolled in Health Science programs are strongly encouraged to be immunized against COVID-19, as it can affect your ability to be guaranteed a practicum placement. 

Although Alberta Health Services (AHS) has removed the mandatory requirement for COVID-19 immunization, other clinical partners still require students to be fully immunized. RDP is obligated to ensure that students comply with each partner’s requirements.

In particular Health Care Aide (HCA), Practical Nursing (PN) and Bachelor of Science Nursing (BScN) practicum placements occur with various clinical partners who still require students to be fully immunized against COVID-19.

Without COVID-19 immunization, RDP cannot guarantee HCA, PN and BScN students a practicum placement which WILL result in either a delay or inability to complete your program.
