This certificate program combines four essential pillars of technical support: hardware, operating systems, networking foundations and cybersecurity foundations. Through hands-on training and theoretical instruction, students will build the skills needed to troubleshoot, maintain and secure modern IT systems.

Students will be prepared to write the CompTIA A+ certification exam, a globally recognized credential for entry-level IT professionals. Combine the theory from this certificate with industry experience to help work your way towards CompTIA A+ certification.

Program Delivery

You will take 3 courses across 12 weeks to complete this certificate. Classes run 5 hours per day at our Downtown Campus.

Courses

Hardware & Operating Systems Technology

Hardware and related devices. Training includes assembly and troubleshooting of equipment. This also includes identifying multiple Operating Systems and installing and setting up a whole operating system.  A+ Certification prep and exam voucher included.

Foundations of Networking

Introduction to the foundations of computer networking and communication. You will learn to identify and apply the appropriate methods for networking a group of computers using both wired and wireless technologies—fundamental training on Networking protocols and settings.

Introduction to Network Security

Introduction to the foundations of Computer and Network Security. This includes virus and threat protection, profile setup, passwords and related settings.
