Biography

Gary Cerantola is a business professor, business advisor, trainer, facilitator and management consultant who has experience in many aspects of the business industry. Gary has taught 40 training courses over the last 17 years for the University of Phoenix, Meritus University and Georgian College in these various areas of the business industry .  

Gary was awarded the Calgary Campus University of Phoenix J. Sperling award for Teaching Excellence in 2010. He has held executive, senior management, technical and Total Quality Management roles across the telecommunications (TELUS) and electric power industries (ATCO).  

Gary owned and operated businesses in water treatment, premise security and management consulting in Alberta and Ontario. As an internal corporate consultant, Gary has led various projects in conjunction with contracted consultants such as KPMG, Accenture, Bain & Company, Ernst & Young and PwC Consulting Services.  

Gary also has 18 years of board of director experience having served on eight boards and is an Accredited Canadian Credit Union Director (2013) through the Canadian Credit Union Association and the University of Dalhousie. Gary is a certified DDI (Development Dimensions International) facilitator and a certified YB12 (Australia) Business Coach.
