Bachelor of Business Administration
Make Big Moves
The RDP Business Administration degree prepares you to contribute to and compete in a global and dynamic business environment, developing the skills you need today and in the future.
You’ll explore everything from tax planning and labour relations to business law and organizational strategy. Learn how to negotiate contracts, manage teams, and make smart financial decisions.
Choose your path of study with concentrations in Accounting, Entrepreneurship and Small Business, or Financial Services. You also have the option to select a minor from a range of business or non-business disciplines, which may include credit toward professional designations such as Accounting, Human Resources or Financial Services.
Business students at Red Deer Polytechnic benefit from the strong relationships we have with the business community. This creates invaluable opportunities for you to gain hands-on experience through work practicums, where you’ll apply what you’ve learned in actual business settings.
Work-integrated Learning
No matter which pathway you choose, you’ll participate in two 90-hour work-integrated learning opportunities as well as project-based courses where you will do in the classroom what you would do on the job.
Further Study
Some graduates of the Bachelor of Business Administration program go on to pursue graduate studies, such as a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
You can pursue graduate studies at any time after graduation and will meet the minimum requirements for MBA programs at universities across Canada, the United States and Europe.
