Biography

Imran Baig has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from York University, with a specialized honours in Accounting. Imran Baig received his Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation in February 2017 and has been a member in good standing since.

Imran is a part-time instructor with Donald School of Business Science and Computing, primarily teaching accounting courses. Imran has worked full-time for the Federal Public Service as an auditor since 2017. His passion for teaching led him to teach sessional and part-time courses via remote delivery to students across Canada. Before working as an auditor, Imran worked as an analyst in the finance departments of an insurance company and a restaurant franchise business.

Imran also brings experience in the financial services industry having worked as a financial advisor at one of Canada’s largest banks for over three years.
