Raymond Savage

Biography

Ray Savage joined Red Deer Polytechnic for the 2016 Fall Term as an instructor at the Donald School of Business, Science and Computing. He began his Bachelor of Education at the University of Alberta in 1986. Ray completed his bachelor's degree and began a teaching career in his hometown of Grande Prairie, Alberta where he served as a junior high school instructor, high school instructor, vice principal and principal with both Grande Prairie Catholic Schools and Peace Wapiti Academy. 

Ray earned a Masters in Educational Leadership from San Diego State University in 2001. He later shifted career paths and moved into the private sector with a Human Resources specialization in 2004. Ray returned to teaching at Grande Prairie Regional College in 2013 in the Department of Business and eventually found a home instructing at Red Deer Polytechnic. He has recently completed a Certificate in Strategic Human Resource Management from Napier University Scotland.
