Yalda Asef

Biography

Yalda holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology/Toxicology from the University of Western Ontario. Subsequently, she graduated from the collaborative Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at the University of Alberta. She started her career as a registered nurse with a specialization in maternity nursing. 

Yalda began her teaching journey at Red Deer Polytechnic in the 2021 Fall Term where she instructed in both the Practical Nurse Diploma and the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.

 In 2023, she transitioned to a full-time probationary instructor role within the Practical Nurse Diploma. Concurrently, Yalda initiated her Master of Nursing at Athabasca University in 2023 where she focused on nursing education and health promotion.
